Privacy Policy

Helply is the seller and data controller for personal data collected through the Helply website, account dashboard, chatbot widget and related customer support services.

Personal data we collect

  • Account details, including name, business name, email address, login details and plan information.
  • Business content you upload or connect, including FAQs, website pages, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets and chatbot instructions.
  • Conversation data, including chatbot transcripts, lead details, appointment requests and support messages.
  • Usage, device and security data, including IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps, approximate location, error logs and cookie identifiers.
  • Billing and subscription identifiers shared by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Helply does not collect or store full card numbers.

How we use personal data

  • To provide, secure and improve the Helply AI chatbot service.
  • To train and configure your chatbot using the business data you provide.
  • To answer customer support requests, qualify leads and book appointments.
  • To manage accounts, subscriptions, payments, invoices, tax and fraud prevention.
  • To send service notices, support replies and, where permitted, marketing communications.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, regulatory and dispute-resolution obligations.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary with trusted service providers that help us run Helply, including hosting, database, analytics, email, customer support, AI processing and security providers. Paddle receives buyer, billing and transaction data as our Merchant of Record so it can process payments, taxes, invoices, subscription management and refunds.

AI processing and customer content

Business files, chatbot instructions and conversation content may be processed by AI model providers to generate responses for your chatbot. We use this data to provide the service to you and do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep account and service data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, security, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. Chat transcripts and uploaded business data may be deleted or exported according to your plan and account settings.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, request portability, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a regulator. To make a request, contact privacy@helply.app.

We use necessary cookies to operate the site and service. We may also use analytics or marketing cookies where allowed by law or with consent where required.
